This trip we stayed here for 2 nights at the Sequoia Lodge with 3 day tickets to both parks and the dining plan. They are planning on refurbishment in 2026, and aims to enhance the hotel while retaining its existing warm, rustic aesthetic. The project will involve a reimagining of interior spaces, including rooms, lobbies, and dining areas, with a focus on natural elements and nods to Disney characters. We found it comfortable (other than the hard beds) but outdated. The new design will pay homage to nature and Disney characters, incorporating elements from both classic and recent Disney films. The hotel’s design will be inspired by the beauty of nature and will feature elements that evoke the feel of a forest.
Disneyland Paris consists of two parks:
- Disneyland Park: This is the main park, similar to Disneyland in California and Magic Kingdom in Florida. It features classic Disney attractions, shows, and parades.
- Walt Disney Studios Park: This park is dedicated to the behind-the-scenes aspects of movies, TV shows, and animation and is in the middle of a major renovation and will be renamed Disney Adventure World! The park’s entrance, World Premiere (formerly Studio 1), reopened on May 15, 2025, with a new look and a focus on a Hollywood premiere theme. The park is also undergoing a larger transformation that will include the opening of a World of Frozen area in 2026 and it will be worth the trip over to see it.

We ate at two different places for dinner and enjoyed them both. The first day we arrived we ate at Plaza Gardens Restaurant which is a grand buffet. We had the dining plan which offered a breakfast at your hotel and one other meal, lunch or dinner, your choice. When you consider this buffet was 45 Euros it was quite worth it to buy a dining plan. Make your way along the fountain path from Central Plaza to a period of elegance in Main Street’s oldest building. Antique furniture, porcelain, bevelled mirrors and velvet drapes, all in sumptuous shades of pink and green, supply the setting, as you enjoy a generous selection of starters, main dishes and mouth-watering desserts. Always save room for the mouth watering french desserts!!

The second night we ate at the Studios at PYM Kitchen a new addition to Disney

Pym Test Kitchen has food at unusual scales! Utilizing the revolutionary shrink-and-grow technology of Pym Particles, Ant-Man and The Wasp lead a team of research chefs as they pioneer a menu packed with inventive-sized entrees, tiny treats and shareable bites that provide the perfect power-up.
This old lab facility features a seating area that incorporates remnants of ongoing experiments with gigantic soda cans, humungous condiment bottles and massive cellphones recycled into menu boards. Stop by to taste-test their latest innovations in food science and conquer uncontrollable appetites on the spot! The food was good, not great without the variety we enjoyed at the Plaza buffet.
Both places are difficult to get reservations for and you can make them as soon as you book your hotel package on their app. This was also in the 40 Euro price range.
