When we are planning our next overseas adventure what better place for Ayr and I to visit then Ayr, Scotland of course! How great would it be to take pictures with Ayr at the train station, and in front of street signs. We can go into gift stores and he can finally find items with his name on them! Yes I know we could order things on line, but it would be so much more fun to go back to Scotland! They have some of the nicest people we ever met, beautiful scenery, and the most spectacular train rides in the World.

Ayr is a town situated on the southwest coast of Scotland. Today it is the administrative center of the South Ayrshire Council, and the historic county town of Ayrshire. With a population of 46,982, Ayr is the 15th largest settlement in Scotland and second largest town in Ayrshire by population.

Ayr is a popular seaside resort in south Ayrshire and is Located 37 miles south west of Glasgow, Ayr is a popular seaside resort, complete with charming sea front, leafy suburbs and range of places to stay. Ayr has a fantastic esplanade with a long sandy beach which is perfect for walking.
